Meet Beverley Bourne
Beverley Bourne is a psychology-trained educator with decades of hands-on experience working one-to-one with children, teenagers, and their families.
Through Architects of Emotion, Beverley offers a unique, practical approach to emotional and social development combining deep psychological understanding with real-world tools that actually work in daily family life.
This is not about quick fixes or labelling children. It is about truly understanding how emotions work, how relationships form, and how parents can become confident guides for their child’s growth.
Our Philosophy
At Architects of Emotion, we believe every child already possesses the capacity for emotional strength and social intelligence.
Our role is to help uncover and nurture that capacity. We create a safe space where children can explore their feelings without fear of judgement, where parents gain clarity and practical strategies, and where families learn to connect more deeply.
We work in three thoughtful stages:
-
Time with the child on their own
-
Time with the parents on their own
-
Time with the whole family together
This integrated approach helps everyone develop the awareness, tools, and language needed to navigate challenges such as anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, friendship difficulties, and bullying.
The ideas behind this clinic are also explored in
